Caring About Our Community
Joplin FBLA has enjoyed volunteering their time in the community throughout the year.
Another community service project included “Trick-or-Treating” for Canned Goods. Over 400 cans were collected while going door-to-door asking for non-perishable and canned food donations. The food was used to make Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for three Joplin R-8 families that were struggling this year.
Joplin FBLA members will visit Crosslines Ministries of Joplin monthly to help sort and organize clothing. Crosslines is the 2010 community service project.
On Valentine's Day, FBLA members and Joplin business classes created Valentine's for local hospital patients.
We went bowling for Blankets and Baby whips
